THE BODY CAN USE ONLY ORGANIC MINERALS:
It is physiologically impossible for your body to use an inorganic mineral. It simply cannot and will not do it. Anyone who knows biochemistry and physiology knows this to be true. It is frustratingly ironic how many people who should know better fail to recognise this simple fact. Water is hydrogen and oxygen and thats all! Anything in the water other than these two components actually contaminates it.
Tap water these days is more like soup, a chemical soup. Among the pollutants are soap, wood pulp, oil, sulfuric acid, copper, arsenic, paint, pesticides, radioactive wastes, agricultutal fertilizers, and chemicals from industries too numerous to mention. In addition there are inorganic minerals ranging from mildly to highly toxic - sulphur, iron, gypsum, calcium, magnesium, lime, soda ash, flourine, chlorine etc. Moreover, the further chemical pollutants are deliberately added to water supplies, supposedly in an effort to purify the water and kill its bacteria. The only thing is, the chemicals are far more harmful than the bacteria they're supposed to kill. Water goes through many processes at the 'purification' plants: sedimentation, filtration, coagulation, softening, chlorination, bromination, iodization and flouridation.
Tap water is not ideal for the human body because it contains inorganic minerals that the human body can neither use nore precipitate out. These inorganic minerals tend to hook up with cholesterol in the system and form a thick plaque in the arteries. Distilled water does not have this effect. When you eat a piece of fruit or a vegetable you are consuming distilled water.
Perhaps the most important thing to remember about tap water is this: Its more than just water! All chemicals are unusable poisons. Please do not make the grievous mistake of relegating your drinking water to a position of secondary importance or saying something like, "Hey, its just water. Water is water." That's not true. Water is life! The better your water, the better your life.

Heavy metals, like lead, mercury and cadmium in drinking water is another source of contamination that should be avoided as much as possible by using only suitably purified drinking water.
The subject of chemical pollution from the environment and in health consequences is a vast one and not many of us appreciate its significance.
The prostate-cancer patient should take this problem very seriously and he should make every attempt to clean up his environment.

Considered good are reverse osmosis and ceramic filtration systems. In reverse osmosis filtering, the water is forced through a semipermeable membrance, while charged particles and large molecules are repelled.
It is the best system for treating water that is brackish, high in nitrates and loaded with inorganic heavy metals such as iron and lead.

PURE WATER IS ESSENTIAL FOR HEALTH!
Yes, pure water is essential for health. You get it from the natural juices of vegetables, fruits and other foods, or high purity water obtained by steam distillation which is the best method. Another effective method combines de-ionization and reverse osmosis.
If you drink lake, river, well or spring water, you are drinking undistilled water, plus the inorganic minerals that the water has picked up. Some of this water is known as hard water, meaning it has high inorganic mineral concentrations that can cause health problems.
There are two kinds of chemicals - inorganic and organic. The inorganic chemicals are inert, which means that they cannot be absorbed into the tissues of the body.

INORGANIC VERSUS ORGANIC MATERIALS
There are two kinds of chemicals, inorganic
The organic chemicals like chlorine, alum and sodium flouride cannot be utilized in a healthy way by the living tissues of the body and can only cause harm!
Our body chemistry is composed of 19 organic minerals, which most come from a living source or one that was once alive. When we eat an apple or any other fruit or vegetable, that substance is composed of living organic minerals

A question I am often asked is, "What about mineral water?"
Although bottled water is rich in minerals, unfortunately these minerals are not present in a form that our bodies are able to use easily.
Unlike the minerals in fresh fruits and vegetables, those in mineral water are easily deposited in our joints, muscles and tissues.

In my opinion, one of the best types of filtering processes is reverse osmosis with an activated charcoal filter. It removes up to 97 percent of chlorine-related chemicals, which is considered excellent. Another fine choice is a filter with reverse osmosis and de-ionization.
